How We Came About:
Formerly known as "The Absentees", a bunch of misfits who ply their trade playing football on the grounds of Temasek Polytechnic decided to get together for another shot in being in a team, with some manpower reshuffling in terms of new recruitments and resignations. This bunch of misfits have mostly completed their National Service and want to have kickabouts regularly on Saturday mornings and sometimes Sunday evenings.

Why BlackSheeps:
After The Absentees disbanded, some of the original team members had the urge to unite the team once again, now that they've been playing regularly again. But one of the hardest decisions to make was the team name. Luckily for them, Eugene found his inspiration during a routine trip to the toilet bowl, armed with a newspaper, he named them 'BLACK SHEEPS FC'. 'Often understimated or overlooked, but different from footballing teams. Try us.'
